Over 15 years experience actively working in the industry, everything from dishwasher and busboy to bar manager and consultant. Currently a board member of the Kansas City Chapter of the United States Bartenders' Guild, a partner and founder of the Paris of the Plains Cocktail Festival, and Senior Brand Development Director for Altamar Brands - in his words, he’s a HUGE nerd but LOVES his job (or jobs). Brandon has also worked in a media production capacity with many global spirits brands including but not limited to: Tanqueray, Johnnie Walker, Cognac Ferrand, and Jagermeister, and was a co-producer for the instructional video component of DrinkSkool (www.drinkskool.com) - an online destination created by and featuring some of the leading minds of the spirits and cocktail world.
Mark has worked in nearly every aspect of the hospitality industry over the last 12 years. Currently serving on the board of the Kansas City Chapter of the United States Bartenders' Guild, Bar Manager at Grünauer since 2010 - only recently leaving to form Liquid Minded Concepts. Mark's accolades include winning the 2010 Greater Kansas City Bartending Competition, as well as placing / winning cocktail competitions hosted by Four Roses, Bombay Sapphire, Crown Valley Distillery, Small's Gin, Domaine de Canton, Campari, and Barenjager, featured as an accomplished bartender in publications such as Esquire, The Kansas City Star, Chicago Tribune, The Pitch, Ink, and Tasting Panel among others.
Brock Schulte has helped develop Cocktail programs in Kansas City since 2009, including M&S Grlll, Manifesto, and now leads as Head Bartender at The Rieger Hotel Grill & Exchange. In 2012 he was instrumental in developing and rebranding The Drum Room and Providence New American Kitchen in downtown KC’s President Hilton Hotel. There he retrained staff to high volume and craft cocktails and instituted one of KC’s first bottled cocktail and barrel aging programs. He has placed as Regional Finalist in the 2015 Diageo World Class Competition, Third in the Paris of the Plains National Bartending Competition 2014, Bombay Sapphire’s Most Inspired Bartender Competition National Finalist 2010 and 2014, 2nd in Smalls Gin Competition 2013, and The Pitch Magazine’s Voters Choice Top 5 Best Bar and Best Bartender 2013.
